Over the 33 years it’s educational and advocacy activities have been accompanied by permanent and wide public awareness campaigning. All its educational endeavours meet both personal and local community needs, bringing new actors into education in later life in Slovenia (libraries, museums, hospitals, The Red Cross, etc.) It has had a consultative role in national and European organisations (AGE Platform Europe, UN, and European Commission) and participates in several transnational European projects.
